The Lost House

Recently shortlisted for the UWA, Dorothy Hewett Award, The Lost House is a literary fiction about two teenagers who discover friendship after falling into a liminal space where the lost things go and where time stands still.

Set in a valley untouched by human hand, with forests of trees older than modern civilisation and taller than skyscrapers, this profoundly moving story is a treaty about how trauma can freeze time, but ultimately this is a novel of a hope that can only exist through connection with another.
